As a final project, students of C895 have been working hard with the skills they’ve learned so far in the semester to create short spooky audio stories! Influenced by classic dramas from the golden age of radio, these stories are funny, creepy and downright scary!

Fall 2024

Moon

This story is a is a spooky audio recording heavily inspired by a scene from Incredibles 2 when elasta-girl is following the signal of the broadcast to find the screenslaver. It starts off with a normal radio on air personality, and then quickly pivots to a recording of an anonymous user who has seemingly hacked into the radios system. This audio recording delves into the conspiracies of what our reality is, and will make you question whether or not you live in a simulation. Once you start listening, you will never be able to unhear it. Will you risk it?

The story I wrote is about a girl named Sarah getting a mysterious phone call from amysterious person outside and getting closer. This all happens during a thunderstorm at night. When i was drafting this story i did not know what i wanted the big scary to be so that is up to interpretation. It could be a stalker or a person with murderous intent. Those that worked on this project are me (Finn)playing the narrator and the mysterious voice and Mason portraying sarah. All of the sound effects are from alpha libraries and the voice effect is from adobe audition

Little doesn’t want home cooked food and wants fast food also he hates going alone. So, he invites his friends. But Big justice wanted the chicken bake from Costco. But Georgia Drake wanted Arby’s the rest of them didn’t care where they went if they ate. So, Georgia Drake and big Justice did rock, paper, scissors and Georgia Drake won. They went in Little T’s truck and before they got in Earl was scared by a ghost. Which was Big AJ But not the real Big AJ. So, they drove to Arby’s and try to order food, but they get stopped on the way by lifted chevy trucks that join them. When they were at the stop light the yellow light was covered by a double chuck chocolate cookie. When they were at the drive though the person who was talking their order kept messing it up. After the person finally got it right, he said the ice cream machine is broken.
