Not that I don’t love some of the contemporary Womxn in Dance, but it would be incredible if you could get an interview with one of the “original” Dance Divas like Madonna, Janet Jackson, or Cher. Their contributions to dance music over the decades have likely been influential on the “next wave” of dance artists, like Britney Spears, Beyonce, Lady Gaga, SIA, etc. Is it a Big Wish? Sure! But if we aim for the moon in the request and miss, maybe we’ll land among the stars. 🙂
For sure! Last year we spoke with Kimberly Davis how is the vocalist with CHIC as well as Kristine W, both of which are icons so we agree and would love more with those original divas! Thanks for your input Damon! 🙂
What is a “womxn”? Is this a typo?
Purposeful alternative spelling: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Womxn
Yup, it is! The spelling is used to emphasize inclusion and also intersectionality with the transgender community.
